About us

Our boat storage offers many features. Within the storage areas, we have multiple “day/night” technology security cameras monitoring 24 hours per day, with night lighting. Access to a wash station for all storage units. An electronic gate provides access 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Captains Cove provides extra wide, extra tall and deep units for storage of larger boats and RV's. We also have wide open spaces that allow for easier maneuvering. Location is everything when considering ideal boat storage, and we offer a great central location.

We are located between Taylorsville Lakes two main boat launch areas, only 1.6 miles to the State Park and 3 miles to Taylorsville Lake Marina. In addition, the highway running directly in front of Captains Cove allows access to all major lakes in the area, including Green River, Cumberland, Herrington, Dale Hollow, Barren, Nolin and Land Between the Lakes!

All new boat storage members must complete a Captains Cove Boat Storage Contract. All boats must be neat in appearance, and storage is at the discretion of Captains Cove personnel. Boat storage members agree to provide their own insurance. Captains Cove is not responsible for the loss or damage to your boat or its contents.

Your boat will be safely stored between Taylorsville Lake's two main boat ramps.

Only one minute to the State Park and three minutes to Settlers Trace. Unlike other boat storages in the area access is easy and convenient.

Captains Cove Boat Storage can be seen from several residences. This enhances security.

The highway in front of Captains Cove links to the Bluegrass Parkway. This means easy access to all major lakes including Green River, Lake Cumberland, Herrington, Dale Hollow, Barren, Nolin, and Land Between the Lakes.

We offer rentals in 6 months or one year increments and have various units available. All new boat storage members must complete a Captains Cove Boat Storage Contract.

We also accept credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover & Amex) payments, subject to a convenience fee. No fee for debit card payments.
